Call for Student Volunteers

The National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER 09) is recruiting student volunteers for various supporting roles during the conference (Los Angeles 20-24 July 09).

Student volunteers typically serve in the following capacities:

AV OPERATORS staff the Tech Table at the back of the meeting room, and they are responsible for pulling up speaker PowerPoint files and monitoring sound levels during presentations.

MODERATOR ASSISTANTS help session moderators with connecting speakers to the lapel microphone, showing speakers how to work the remote control to the laptop/computer projector and providing assistance as needed.

Why Volunteer?
In return for service, students volunteers receive a free registration and free shared guest room accommodations (two people per room) for up to five nights. Airfare, meals and incidental expenses are not included.
