****o we are producing a Wetland Techniques book (Basically a how to book) and are still looking for a few chapter authors. We need someone that can write chapters on “Assessing and Measuring Wetland Hydrology” and “Wetland Biogeochemistry Techniques.” Please contact me (Jim Anderson 304-293-3825 or jim.anderson@mail.wvu.edu if you are interested in either of these chapters.
Thanks, Jim Anderson James T. Dear Professor Anderson,
I recommend that you and your colleagues consider a chapter on "Hydrology Connections" because this criteria appears to be as important as mere "hydrology" and there is not much "how-to" information available on this subject. I also recommend chapters on signficant nexus, relatively permanent waters, adjacency, and the proper application of relevant case law when evaluating wetlands. A thorough treatise on these topics could make a good and valuable "how-to" book. |

Excellent suggestion, Johnny. But I think your (our) focus on those pesky jurisdictional matters is completely lost on this "hydrology uber alles" crowd.
