Wetlands International, a technical affiliate to the Ramsar Convention established to "to sustain and restore wetlands and their resources for people and biodiversity" has just distributed a press release and is circulating a petition to prevent further agricultural development within existing primary peat forest and critical habitat in the Indonesian province of Aceh. I encourage others to review the following and strongly consider signing onto the petition.
