To all - I am looking for contacts or article references of people that have used coastal-saltwater-brackish water wetlands, or constructed the same, for treatment purposes of metals and nutrients - primarily copper, N and P. Along the same vein, I am also interested in (1) treatment wetlands for other "constitents of concern"; (2) construction of inland saltwater/brackish water wetlands for brine-concentrate management (i.e. spp recruitment, success rate(s), regulatory hurdles, public involvement). Most of the documents that I have access to are dated (late 80's to late 90's) and I am not having any luck getting responses from researchers in these fields. Thx

You may want to contact Dr. Jim Webb with Texas A&M University in Galveston, Texas. He's a well-known coastal wetland guru and may be able to assist you. He might have some adequate literature/bibliographies that can help.
