Hi all, somebody here could help me with any methodology for mapping wetland in a regional scale 100 000 aprox. using landsat imagery or aster maybe any model in GIS I have many ideas for starting but I want to compare work on other latitudes I'm from Peru.

Thanks for any hint.

No, we're going to delimitate coast wetland and andean wetland called "Bofedales".

Hi Erick,
Contact a friend of mine below, who is a well-established Peruvian forester with a background in aerial imagery applications. I've worked with him on joint mapping ventures in SE Asia for land cover/wetlands mapping at various scales and he's well-connected to the Peruvian GIS community and aerial imagery users. He has developed Peruvian forest cover classification systems. His name is Jorge Malleux.
